This closely tapered synthetic fiber thatch shingle is designed to resemble the hand trimmed English or Irish thatching, and is typically installed with the 'Eave Wadd' edge material to complete the look and feel of traditional 'cottage' thatching. The unique light gray color combination of this fiber thatch gives the slightly 'weathered' appearance that is customary of an authentic cottage.
